This is a poetic take on the current affairs of the international community and more specifically the USA in relational to Africa and the African Diaspora. The unfortunate circumstances addressed by 'Paint the White House Black' are still very much in evidence, in spite of the fact and against the background of African contribution to humanity, civilization and the USA. These are coupled with the fact that the 'White House' is currently occupied by a Black Family, yet the social injustices read, business as usual. Hence, 'Paint the While House Black'.

YASUS AFARI - The premiere 'edutainer', is often described as Jamaica's national treasure, best kept secret and an international jewel. He is a reggae recording artiste, author and poet who started writing in his teens, did his first recording in his twenties and has now brought his music and social advocacy to over 40 countries.

Yasus has recorded and performed with the likes of Black Uhuru, Toots and the Maytals, Beres Hammond, Freddie Mc Gregor and Garnet Silk among others. His current album, Public Secret is his 8th and he has two books, the latest of which is ' Overstanding Rastafari - Jamaica's Gift to the World'.
